SM8022BS یک درایور گِیت MOSFET دوگانه با ایزولاسیون اپتوکوپل است و کاربردهای اصلی آن:

• درایور گِیت MOSFET در منابع تغذیه سوئیچینگ

• کنترل بارهای خازنی بالا (مثل MOSFET قدرت)

• رله حالت‌جامد (SSR)

• مدارات صنعتی و تحقیقاتی که نیاز به ایزولاسیون سیگنال کنترل از مدار قدرت دارند

• معمولاً این آی‌سی نیازی به ولتاژ تغذیه خارجی جداگانه ندارد مثل آی‌سی‌های منطق دیجیتال؛

  • خروجی درایو (Drive Output) خودش ولتاژ درایو گِیت را فراهم می‌کند (حدود 6V).

  • ورودی LED باید با جریان مناسب (چند میلی‌آمپر) از منبع کنترل تغذیه شود تا خروجی فعال شود.

  این یعنی در طراحی مدار:
   ورودی LED آی‌سی معمولاً از منبع 5V/3.3V با مقاومت محدودکننده تغذیه می‌شود.
   خروجی درایو تا حدود 6V گِیت MOSFET را در سطح مناسب روشن می‌کند.

Description
The SM8022 is composed of two distinct MOSFET drivers
in a single package. Each driver circuit consists of an input
drive LED optically coupled to a photodiode array output
designed to drive highly capacitive loads, including the gate
of a power MOSFET. The active discharge circuit of the
PDAs assures quick discharge of MOSFETs, providing fast
turn-off times. This device can be used as two separate
drivers, or can be wired as a single enhanced driver with
either greater photo current or photo voltage output.
